State Duma extends authority of Nabiullina for 5 more years

MOSCOW, Apr 21 (PRIME) -- The Russian parliament’s lower house State Duma has extended the authority of Elvira Nabiullina as the chairwoman of the central bank for five more years starting from June 24, according to information obtained by PRIME on Thursday.

Nabiullina has been the regulator’s chairwoman since June 2013. The new term will be her third and final one according to the law.
